It can be challenging to carve out the space to figure out who you are and what you want out of life.

When folks feel spiritually ungrounded, it is easy to feel lost in life on some level, unsure of how to find their way.

Perhaps you can relate.

Maybe you’re seeking more meaning-making practices, connection with your ancestors, or you struggle with trusting your intuition.

If you’re feeling a deep-seated craving for something more, you may feel like life is missing something.

Do You Feel Insecure, Lost, or Empty? Or Hungry for Something More?

Do any of the following resonate with you?

  • You struggle with trusting your intuition and making decisions.

  • You want to integrate spirituality into your daily life and practices, but aren't sure where to start.

  • You long to deepen your connection with your inner world (dreams, guides, ancestors, creativity).

  • You have experienced a spiritual awakening/crisis that has radically transformed the way you see the world.

  • You have a persistent sense that something is "missing" in your life, or that you're seeking something you have yet to find.

If these sound true for you, I want you to know that your unique way of seeing the world, of relating to spirituality and the unseen, has so much to offer the world.

You didn't come to the world to be like everyone else, you came to be uniquely you.

It can feel impossible to prioritize the Self in a world where so much suffering is just a phone-screen away. And yet, no single individual is here to save the world alone. Feeling grounded in your systems of meaning-making can support you in living in right relationship, knowing that you're doing the work that is yours to do.

  • Connect with your spiritual court (guides, archetypes, ancestors, etc.) in a way that supports your healing & growth process

  • Gain confidence and trust in your unique spiritual strengths

  • Find ways to combine critical, scientifically-grounded, thinking with creative, non-linear understanding

  • Feeling a sense of meaning, purpose, and belonging in life

FAQs

  • When developing their spiritual identity, folks often visit those who are spiritual specialists - mediums, gurus, chaplains, and so on.

Although I am also an animist, medium and practicing espiritista, I find that my role as a therapist is unique to supporting folks in their spiritual self-discovery.

Through our work together, many of my clients have found a non-judgmental, loving space where they can challenge internalized assumptions, heal from past wounds, and build a connection to their own spirit and sense of self.

  • Our work together consists of 50-minute, one-on-one sessions. In addition to listening, I will ask questions and provide guidance based on my experience.

Here’s how it will work step-by-step:

    1. We will begin with a semi-structured intake process, starting to build trust and establish some goals and desires for the therapeutic process.
    2. I will support you in exploring your current spiritual framework, with an attention to ancestry, symbolism, archetypes, and your own inner world (ex: how your imagination works, what you'd like to strengthen or approach).
    3. We will collaboratively identify the ways that you prefer to heal and learn, which will shape the specific tools (like tarot, archetypes, dreams, ritual, visualization, prayer, etc.) or interventions (Somatics, EMDR, IFS, Narrative) that are incorporated into our work.
    4. We will implement the tools and interventions that feel exciting and supportive for you, and over time I will support you in recalibrating your goals based on progress, growth, and any challenges that arise.

These steps vary based on each individual. Feel free to reach out for a consult to see how this work might look for you!

  • Of course!

Spiritual identity development is something that can be easily woven into other healing processes - since it is about the fundamentals of how you experience and interact with your inner/outer worlds.

It incorporates extremely well into EMDR, Somatics, and Parts Work (IFS) and can be woven into trauma-healing and/or other healing goals you may have.
