Do You Feel Insecure, Ashamed, Lost or Confused?
Do any of the following resonate with you?
You feel confused or conflicted about your gender identity and/or sexual orientation.
You sometimes feel like you're living someone else's life.
You always wanted to explore your identity, but haven't had the time/space and are worried that it might be too late.
You feel anxious about opening up to a provider about your gender identity/ sexual orientation because you're worried about discrimination or safety.
You have experienced harm/trauma from your identity and need a safe, affirming space to heal.
If these sound true for you, I want you to know that you deserve a safe, affirming space that encourages you to embrace the fullness of who you are.
It can be common to feel like diverse gender/sexual identities are simply accepted or tolerated, even in spaces that are supposed to be focused on your healing. But TBH, tolerance is such a low bar! You deserve to feel celebrated, valued, and loved by your community, including (especially!) with the healing professionals you trust to open up your innermost world with!
Queer-Affirming Identity Development Can Help You Gain The Courage To Be Your True Self
It’s possible to feel better. Imagine a life where you could...
Embrace the complexity of your identity
Feel capable of being courageously authentic in your relationships with self/other
Find clarity around your desires for self-expression and relationships, whether that is around your gender identity, sexual orientation, or relational orientation (ex: desiring a non-heteronormative relationship, such as polyamory or kink-incorporated dynamics)
Unlearn internalized oppression and embrace Queerness as a liberating political identity
Build a connection with your Queer ancestors, lineage, and legacy through creative, embodied, and spiritual supports

Of course!
Finding a “label” (such as bi, trans, queer, etc) can feel like a big priority to some folks, but if you don’t want/need a label to describe you then that absolutely works for me.

Although I do love working with folks who are actively working on exploring their identity, I also really love working with Queer/2SLGBTQIA+ folks who are wanting an identity-affirming space to heal from trauma and improve their mental health in other ways.
I never see people's identity as a problem to be solved, but rather as an integral part of who they are and how they experience the world. If you just want an identity-affirming space to work on your other healing goals, I’m here for that!

I identify as a neuroqueer, bisexual, non-binary femme. I engage with Queerness (and Femmeness) as political identities. Neuroqueerness is a descriptor that addresses how my Queerness is connected to my Neurodivergent identities, which for me are inextricably intertwined and mutually informed.
My pronouns are They/Them/Theirs & She/Her/Hers.
I am happy to explain more about my identity (and how this interacts with my values and politics) to you.

Although I am open to providing these letters for existing clients (or new clients that I take on who end up wanting this support), I do not specialize in providing this type of short-term care. Because of the nuances involved in this process, I prefer to direct people towards more specialized services that can support them in a skillful, cost-effective and timely manner.
Having said that, if you’re unsure how to obtain this kind of documentation and need support/guidance, feel free to reach out and I am happy to support you in finding options, alternative providers, and/or discussing whether this would be something I’d be able to make an exception for!
